Silvia rode from early childhood. She received her first pony Pepito for her birthday when she was 3-year-old. Her parents have always had a good influence on her career and continue to support her today.
At the beginning of her career, Silvia focused on Eventing. She participated at the Junior European Championships as well as the Young Riders and Senior Italian Championships.
During her early Senior years, Silvia moved to Ireland where she competed in 3* international competitions. She has represented Team Italia at several championships, including the World Championships in Lion d’Angers where she took 15th place individually with Corofin (Royal Persian x Chair Lift). It is with this horse that she achieved her best performances in Eventing and was short-listed for the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. Unfortunately, the pair missed out on competing as the gelding sustained an injury.
After Silvia and Riccardo got married in 2008, she decided to change discipline.
Since 2011, Silvia Bazzani has been dedicating herself to Show Jumping both focusing on developing young talented horses and performing a few exceptional ones in the bigger classes at international CSI2* and CSI3* shows.
