Chaclot, bred by Gestüt Lewitz / Paul Schockemöhle, was born in 2009. He is a son of Chacco-Blue out of Flying P., by Fly High I and Pilot.

His sire, the élite stallion Chacco-Blue, son of the Holstein stallion Chambertin out of a Contender-Godavari xx dam and inbred to the line founder Cor de la Bryère, was third in the Grand Prix in Aachen and won the Grand Prix in Neumünster, among others.  In 2015, the successes of his offspring placed him amongst the “top ten” of the world's best show jumpers for the first time, despite having died three years earlier aged 14, after a long battle with borreliosis (Lyme disease). Since 2017, he has led the ranking of the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH).

His dam, the mare Flying P., is a daughter of the Hanoverian stallion Fly High, son of the famous For Pleasure, producer of internationally 1.60 m showjumpers. The dam line continues with the legendary sire Pilot and the Gotthard son Geronimo.

At Lozar

Chaclot moved into Lozar Stables as an 8-year-old in 2017.

The Oldenburger stallion competes with Riccardo Pisani and the pair is one of the most consistent ones that ever competed in Show Jumping for Team Italia. Among their CSI4* and CSI5* Grand Prix are venues like Gijon, Hickstead, Barcelona, Rotterdam, Verona, St. Gallen, Calgary, Piazza di Siena, La Baule, Aachen and the Longines FEI World Cup. They also competed at the 2018 FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, marking one of the four double clear rounds.

In 2021, the Italian Equestrian Federation selected the pair as reserve for the Olympics Games in Tokyo.

Chaclot represents one of the greatest European hopes for sport and breeding.
